I'm an independent book and archive conservator based in Haringey, North London.
As well as interventive conservation, restoration and box-making, I reveal the social and cultural history of client's books and archival objects with detailed reports.
I teach students in both interventive and preventive conservation measures and teach museum staff on how to approach the hazzards of pests, mould and poisons in their collection.
I proof read for the European conservation Journal 'conservation update' and have written for publicaiton, most recently a review of 'Conservation of Books' for the Society of Bookbinder's journal 'The Bookbinder', 2024.
Having trained at Camberwell College of Arts with a BA in Book Conservation and a Masters degree in Book Arts, I have worked for instutes such as the Linnean Society of London, All Souls College Oxford, The British Library and Maggs Bros.
